Dress up your Candles with Fabric!

I'm usually not a big fan of candles, there aren't very many places I have them in my house. I use scented oil to make the house smell good, but other than that, candles have just been...there. Filling up a space. And then I saw this at Lilacs and Longhorns...

She added a simple band of fabric to her candles and I loved the impact it gave! So, I totally stole the idea! Sorry, Julie

I had some leftover fabric from my Craigslist Cane Chairs Makeover that I just cut into strips (obviously not even strips) and hot glued them to my candles.

Instant, easy impact! Thanks for the fabulous idea, Julie! Be sure to head over to Lilacs & Longhorns and check out the fabulousness!

  5. What a brilliant idea. And, even easy enough for me (as a non-crafty) to achieve - love it!
