Silver Chalkboard Tray

While rummaging through Goodwill months ago, I stumbled upon a silver platter. It sat in my craft room for months, all alone, no project for it in sight......until the other day. I had out my chalkboard paint and thought, why not put some chalkboard paint on it. So, I did.

It now sits on my entry table! All for under $5!

Behold the light.....of the moonshine jug....

Some of you may remember my wine bottle that I converted to a lamp. If you don't, you can go see it here. The end result looked like this, which was the inspiration for this new project!

Its very Pottery-Barnish for a non-Pottery Barn price! While surfing Craigslist everyday one day, I stumbled upon these lovely moonshine / wine bottles for sale.

The guy had 13 for sale. I bought them all. Friends laughed at me, the man who sold them laughed at me. I'm sure his thoughts were somewhere along the lines of  "What in the hell is this lady with the screaming baby going to do with 13 moonshine jugs? Should I call child protective services?"
But, I had a plan, I knew exactly what I would do with them.
They would become lamps.

And lamps they became.
Now, you ask yourself, what will the crazy lady do with 13 lamps of the same kind?
She will sell them! Since I have been at home with the Boog Boog, remember her...

I know, she is freakin adorable. But I digress, anyway, since I have been home with her, I have been trying to make a little bit of extra money. Hence, the 13 bottle lamps. I have also been re-vamping some other finds and selling them in my Etsy shop which you can visit here! And I post them on my Facebook Rain on a Tin Roof page which I would love for you to go LIKE! You can do that here!
