The Nursery is Complete!!

Except for the little bambino.... the nursery is complete!

I made the pom-poms that hang over the bed. You can read how to here. I already had the bookshelf, which I painted white. The wall art above it actually came off of my crib when I was a wee tot.

The mirror is a Craigslist find. $30 and I spray painted it white. I found the dresser at an antiques store via Craigslist for a whopping $70!!!!! It got sanded, painted and new hardware. The nursery rhymes came from vintage books.

This shelf used to be a contemporary black floating shelf. I added the corbels, molding and painted it to make it fit into the nursery.

An old galvanized bucket became a toy bin. I made the liner with fabric that matched the rest of the bedding.

This coat rack is actually an old piece of barn wood that has been spray painted.

I made a slip cover for a $25 chair I found on Craigslist. The lamp on the table got a spray paint job and recovered shade. I also made the simple panel curtains. All of the beautiful bedding (bedskirt, pillow, blanket on the chair) was a gift from my lovely aunt, which was found on Etsy.
